General Program Information
- Classes follow curriculum of US Figure Skating Basic Skills
- Classes taught by US Figure Skating accredited coaches
- Includes membership in US Figure Skating
- Basic skills packets will be available to all skaters and include
the official membership card, stickers and badges of USFSA.
- We encourage each skater to attend every class to assure that
each child has consistency in training. For this reason, we do
not offer make-up classes or refunds.
Registration Information
- For you and your child’s best interest, please register early. Early registration allows enough time to place the skater in the most appropriate class for their age and ability level.
- All skaters must fill out a registration form/waiver with complete payment in order to enroll in any of our Basic Skills Classes. Please pick up a registration form/waiver at the Customer Service Desk at The Sports Centre, or download one from our website. What to Wear
-Helmets are encouraged for all skaters
-Gloves, legging or pants, and warm, layered clothing
-Skates: Rental Skates, both hockey and figure, are available for $3.00/pair. It is recommended to arrive early or purchase your own pair of skates due to limited skate rental sizes.
First Day of Class - Please arrive 20 minutes early to receive name badge, group lesson time and instructor at the Customer Service Desk.
- Please return name badge to front desk at end of every lesson.
Private Lessons on Basic Skills
- Private lessons during Basic Skills are open only to students enrolled in a Basic Skills class during that particular session. The student must pre-register by the first day of each session for this additional ice time at a cost of $8.00 per day. Walk-in private lessons will be allowed at a price of $9.00 per day.
Special Rates
- FAMILY: Family rates are available for 3 or more people enrolled in the same session (10% off total)*.
- ADULT: Any adult (18 & older) who registers for a class at the same time their child registers, can receive a 25% discount*.
- EVERY SESSION: If a skater signs up for all 5 sessions (payment is due up front), the skater will receive a 15% discount off total cost*.
